The Case of the Missing Marquess

The Case of the Missing Marquess: An Enola Holmes Mystery

Enola Holmes, much younger sister of detective Sherlock Holmes, must travel to London in disguise to unravel the disappearance of her missing mother.

My Thoughts: This is the first of a series of mysteries. It is a great start to a story that could continue for quite awhile! If you like codes, this story will excite you as you see how Enola solves a series of puzzles and codes to try and find her mother.

Suck it Up!

Suck it Up! by Brian Meehl

My Thoughts - I liked this vampire story that wasn't anything like Twilight! It was funny!

Being Nikki

Being Nikki by Meg Cabot

Studious, socially conscious Emerson Watts learns startling news about the family of Nikki Howard, the teen supermodel into whose body Emerson's brain was transplanted by the nefarious Stark corporation.

My Thoughts - I liked this book almost as much as I liked Airhead! Meg Cabot did a great job of showing the struggles Em has trying to be supermodel Nikki Howard. There was some heartbreak in the story and a teaser at the end for the next book in the series: Runaway, to be published in May of 2010! So long to wait!!!
