I.Q. Book One: Independence Hall by Roland Smith
Q - short for Quest - is beginning a new chapter in his life and it is a thriller! His mom has just remarried is working with her new husband to become the newest singing duo megastars. Q's new stepsister Angel and he will be joining their newly married parents on a whirlwind bus tour to kick off their new album. Q and Angela will be attending school via the Internet. But strange things start happening before the first day on the road ends when their tour bus mysteriously breaks down in the middle of nowhere. The next morning an old roadie just appears and is able to help them out by fixing the tour bus. But is this old, scruffy guy and his mangy dog really what they appear to be or is something else going on? Over the next week Q and Angela realize they are being pursued by multiple international intelligence organizations. They have to figure out who can be trusted and who cannot and their lives are depending on their choices!
